Anyone know a good program to convert MP3 files to CD audio
by highhorseb
Since ford was stuck in the dark ages in 2001, and my daily beater is now a 97 civic, neither of these cars will play MP3 audio files (everything on limewire is MP3's). Does anyone know of a good program to convert MP3 to regular CD audio files? I've tried Audiolib and Kong, but neither of these worked correctly. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

You can use easy cd creator, or I think you can even use windows media player... You will want to select burn an audio cd, and not a data one... Cant fit as many songs on a cd this way, but it will work in the car...

I will give that a shot again..just didn't work last time..thanks!!
Also, make sure you are buring an Audio CD on a CD-R... not a CD-RW. In car receivers will not read from CD-RWs unless it says they do. Like Jeremy said, make sure you choose "Audio CD" from the CD Burning software you are using. You can use Windows Media Player to make an audio CD if you do not have any other software to burn.
I think you just diagnosed my issue...I was trying to use RW's instead of the CD-R's...I am an idiot...damn computers!!
I am sorry I forgot to mention the RW issue. I never use rw, becuase the price of cd-r is just so cheap that i see no need to ever burn to them more then once.

Yeah, and why would you want to write over all those smashing pumpkins concerts that you'll never watch ever again anyways? That would be so dumb.
