Im looking for a decent set of LX Tail Lights for an 87 Mustang GT. you heard right i want LX taillights for a GT. and im also looking for one black molding piece that goes around the rear window on the hatch. the one piece is the piece in the upper right hand corner (when you facing the hatch). Kind of L shaped. if anyone can help me out please leave a message here and i will get in contact with you.

Hey Mike,

I just got done ordering all those parts a few months back so I can point you in the right direction. I also have the LX taillights in the GT, never was a big fan of those tailights. Anyway, 5.0 resto can hook you up with the tail lights. The rear molding is a different story, I have looked high and low for both the front windshield and the rear hatch to no avail. A friend of mine that works for a ford dealer finally found the fronts (Thanks Chris!) and is working on the rears. Hey Tom, I don't remember what his name is on the board, can you hook mike up with that!

What do you need 87 mustang parts for is it for a car at the shop, or a personal project you are working on.

Steve, when I read Mike's post last night, you were the first person I thought of and how he is trying to find those rear hatch window mouldings too. I looked in all my Mustang resources, but they only have parts for the older Stangs (64 1/2 to Early 70s).

Don't worry i didn't buy a mustang if that is what your thinking....haha....im looking for these parts for a guy i work with...he's restoring his 87 Mustang

I checked ebay and it looks like LX taillights are easy to come by...so really now im looking for are those moldings around the rear hatch window...if anyone can help me out i'd appreciate it!!

He is the guy I bought all of my interior pieces from. I know he parts out stangs, and has tons of parts. Not sure if he does the older fox bodies though, you would have to ask. But he may have something you are looking for in decent shape. He is also very good about if you ask for something to look a certain way he wont send you crap...
