Upcoming Shows 6-26 & 6-27
by CStingray78
This coming weekend we have 2 local shows that look good...
Hanover:

Winfield:
http://www.sweetrides2001.com/calendar-view-event-13.html
Jeremy, maybe you know more about the Hanover get together, but judging by the even info, its only for older cars. Do we know anymore info about it?
The Winfield looks good especially since the $12 entry fee gets ya pancakes for breakfast and fried chicken for lunch.
Let me know who all will be available for the events.

Right now Im trying to get in contact with the West Manheim Township to get a bit more info on the show. I will post back when i find out more.
As for the show on the 27th at Winfield Fire Co. Carnival Grounds, none of us can enter our cars but you Tom. Id gladly go to check it out, But I would probally make a round hang out for a bit then roll. The vehicle classes for this show include:
Pre 1973
Rods
Customs
Antique
Street Machines
So all of us but you are out.

Jeremy
Jeremy
Sounds good, I still think Street Machines are cars that you can drive on the street, but do not fit into the other categories.
Or am I misinterpreting it?

Lets get this coordinated!
Tom

Tom
Why dont we just say 8:00 @ lonestar. That is on the way up to Hanover or at least the way I take. It really doesnt matter to me. I was thinking more along the lines of 8:30 to give people a bit more time, but if you want to do 8:00 lets do 8:00. Who else will be atending this one.
Jeremy
Jeremy
Always with the LoneStar... Sounds like a plan, can we get together @ LoneStar in Westminster by 8 to go up there? Let us know!
Tom
Tom
I just said lonestar becuase it is convient for everyone. How about burgerking then.. LOL
just adding my 2 cents from what i've seen in the past for these catagories
Pre 1973 - self explanitory, normally stock cars, 1950s-1973
Rods - street rods, usually 1930-1950s
Customs - fabricated cars or with other custom features (shaved door handles, custom bumpers, things frenched in)
Antique - pre 1930
Street Machines - cars with bigger engines then stock, nomally with blowers, superchargers, or any forced induction, tubbed out, 4 link suspensions, big tires, roll cages, etc
i've been to the winfield show before and its all older cars....no late model cars.
