Project 87 MCSS floor pans
by Burgndy87SS
Well its time for one of the last projects for my car before it gets painted. I figured this would be better to do now then after its painted. I promise tho it will get painted one day.
So far i have the entire interior ripped out of the car minus the dash. The dash will be staying in. The main reason for the project is, i have a 4x10" hole in my floor on the driver's side. That is the worst of the rust. The rest is just surface rust and won't need a patch, just a little grinding and prep to make sure it doesn't come back.
Other things i plan on doing while everything is out:
New Carpet
All new insulation/sound deadening material
Redying my interior trim planels is the rear (they are really faded)
Re doing my speaker set up
New Window motors
New Door Sill plates
And trying to save a little weight.
I will post pictures in another post when i have some extra time.

Impressive list there man! How did you find that hole in the floor? Did you put your foot through it?
A little while ago when i was installing my new exhaust and had the car up on stands i could see a little carpet sticking through the floor. But at that point it only looked like a hole about the size of a quarter. Well (like always) when i tore the entire interior out the whole seem a little bit bigger
