you would be correct....its quite the challenge to pull that off and if you watch the whole video.....did you see how freaking long that burnout was!!!!!!!!!!!! thats like the best one i have ever seen.....and it was made by a four banger.

So was he doing an AWD burnout or was the car converted to RWD. I had a hard time telling.. Nice long burn out though...

it is really hard to convert those things to rear wheel drive. its not like you can just unhook the transfer case

Hells yeah, I was watching the first few seconds of it wondering if that guy was going to bury it in the ditch when he fish tailed. Then he started that long ass burnout and I was speechless. Friggin amazing.

Thats what I thought. I would assume to get such a car to be rear wheel drive, would require a different transmision at the minimum. A custom driveshaft. I wonder if you would have to mount the engine differently. Arent the engines in these cars horizontally mounted, so that means the transmision sits off to the side of the engine instead of the rear. Oh well pretty neat stuff. I will have to post some pictures of stuff of rear engine swaps in del sols and stuff I have seen. Lots of custom work..
