Funny you posted that. I have a horn off an 18-wheeler to put on my dads truck. Been looking around for a compatible 12volt compressor to go with it. The whole kit that you found is cheaper than some of the compressors that I have looked at. I am gonna call them and see if I can adapt the whole thing for his truck. Keep you posted. Great find! Why can I see Dad doing that now.....

I checked with the company that Tom posted the ad for. The kit comes with a schematic to wire it into the jeep stocl horn. I would have to find a way to adapt it to a different type of switch to activate it.

Have to think about that as it relates to his truck. Would have to add some additional air line and wiring to get it through the cab and into the bed.

I would really like to see this happen. How many leads could possibly run to the compressor besides 12+ and Ground? You could always run the activating switch to a dash mounted switch rather than tie it into the steering wheel horn assembly.
