75&80 Times
i took my car up to 75&80 to make a couple of passes to see what the lil protege could do. I ran 3 passes 15.3, 15.1, 15.2 none of the passes were perfect but all were good runs figuring it was my first time ever racing at a track. With my new tires i was hoping to pull a 14.9 but had the worst run ever, i bogged terribly off the launch so much that the wheel hop changed the position of my rearview mirror so i shifted to 2nd and granny shifted not to rag anything out since my run was blown and ended up running 16.6 very embarrasing

Good times!! What was your trap speed and 60'. The first run in my Mustang when it was stock was a 15.1, so thats damn good IMO!!
my 60ft was a 2.21 or 2.22 i believe and i trapped at 92 and 93 mph i was satisfied. The advertisement for my car was 14.9 with a professional driver at 93 mph. i was satisfied so that is why my protege is going to remain stock for the remainder of my days owning it. I have my civic to build up now.

I really think with some more practice on those 60's (I know FWD is tough to get a good 60) you have a mid 14 in the car!! The MPH is there!!
