Proto Spirra: Korean sports coupe
Posted Apr 29, 2005, 1:20 PM ET by Walter J Keegan Jr.
Korean Proto Motors’ Spirra was shown at the Seoul Motor Show yesterday and promises to offer high-performance in a mid-engined package. The car that will appear on Korean roads this fall is powered by a 4.6-liter V-8 and makes 320 horsepower. We couldn’t find any pictures of the motor, but that sounds awfully like a Ford engine we all know. Proto wants to expand the line by adding smaller engines to appeal to a wider group of buyers. The Korean answer to the old MR2s.
Check out more pics I found in the Members Gallery. Click on any of them to take you there.
That thing is hot, looks very similar to a ferrari... And we all know what motor it has in it. Funny that alot of these exotic cars use american based motors. Oh well. Curious as to what the price will be on this one.

Yeah, strangely, there is no mention of price, but the way it looks with these things being in "limited production," you can bet they won't be cheap.
And the motor they use is none other than a 4.6L DOHC V8. Sounds REAL familiar!
