Check out this MSN video on a Hydrogen powered BMW and how that technology may be available in the future.

Dude! That is awesome. Its about time somebody came up with something like this. I would put money on the fact that other people have tried and have either had their ideas bought or just been bumped off by the gas mongers to keep their profit margins up. I would like nothing better than to see their "black gold" have no more demand.

The reason you don't hear about this more is because hydrogen combustion engines haven't been researched all that much. Most companies are looking in to "Hydrogen fuel cell" cars that have electric motors. The BMW car can operate on Hydrogen or conventional fuels and can go 50 mph faster than any fuel cell car. plus the electric motors sound like vacuum cleaners. It sounds like the way to go to me.

I would lvoe to see a less demand for gas this way it would go down in price. I am betting that shit hits 3.00$ a gallon by the end of summer. That is just crazy. The cheapest I have sene right now is 2.05 and have seen as high as 2.30 and keep in mind that is for regular.
