i was thinking of getting the new spintech side exit kit for my car. i have to spend like $200 just to fix my flowmasters from the years of wear and tear so i figure i will just spend the $450 to get this kit that i've been wanting. here is a video to help you make an educated vote. matt that car sounds bad ass....but the one thing you gotta think of is the law....i know Maryland passed a law a few months maybe years ago that said that you could not alter your exhaust routing....i don't know how strict they are on that but its something to think about....

if it were me i say go for it....everyone has something on their car that is illegal...like for me im not running any emissions equiptment but that is something that a cop will not see unless they were to open the hood

wow i never heard of that law but it deff sounds like a law maryland would come up with...but also like you said i already have like 5 illegal things on my car so i might as well not worry about it!

well according to the maryland vehicular law book 2004 edition it is illegal to have an after market exhaust system which creates excessive noise which almost all aftermarket exhaust systems fall into this category

I have had my side exhuast for like 3 years now and have had no trouble with it. I have even passed emissions with it twice now I think. Anyways I say go for it, either that or get a set of MAC dumps or Flowpaths they are supposed to sound real nice to.

Personal opinion, that sounds badass. Reality, it would probably get really annoying as a daily driver. I know the side pipes on my Vette are not that loud, but that constant sound, especially when driving to OC, can drive you crazy. Crazy

I'm sure the majority will disagree with me, but the loud exhaust sounds good on an every now and then drive, but not all the time. Get yourself a nice set of Flowmasters that sound good at lower RPMs, but quiet down at Highway speeds, then I think you will have found a happy medium.

I would say go for it. I agree with tom about the sound. My teeth were a little loose after the ride home last car weekend!

well i already have flowmaster american thunder with an off road h-pipe....i just want something a little different and unique. i mean the legal matters dont bother me i mean i already have illegal exhaust with the off road pipe and my tint is illegal i dont have a front plate and im sure a police officer would gladly show me a few more things i need to change. also noise is like money to me the more the better...there are times where i get slightly annoyed on long drives ...but only slightly and it always stays cool. its good to see all the possitive feedback thanks everyone!

I would love to have a side exhaust kit for my T/A, so personally, I would jump all over it. MD law is BS but just watch out you don't get an asshole cop that pulls you over and rapes you with inspection tickets and fines with all of the other illegal mods on your Mustang. I've been pulled over 4 times for not having a license plate on the front of my T/A, but only one fine.

I say deff go for it. I mean like you said each of us already has more than one thing on out cars that are illegal so who cares about that, plus the shit we do with our cars are illegal(ie: racing, burnouts, speeding) That exaust sounds badass and i'd go for it. And as for the constant sound...eh it's personal prefernce because i don't have the side exaust but you know how loud my car is allllllllll the time plus i have the nice highpich sound of my gears and i love it. If it's worth sacrificing your eardrums to make your car get noticed even more...Then go for it Twisted Evil
