I couldn't let Jeremy be the only one to resurect an old post! I went to visit my car yesterday which happened to be the 1 year anniversary of getting it to see the progress. The body guy found a few other "problems" that none of us were aware of but he has gotten them all straight now. Looking good so far, its in 1st stage of primer at this point. In about 3-5 weeks it will be in the paint booth them back home.

Thanks to Cliff for hooking us up with Eddie the body man. We have finally found a trustworthy, reliable, damn good, and very reasonably priced body guy to deal with. He has a few openings for work right now if you all need anywork done. Just send me a message and I can get you in contact with him.

The pictures that I took yesterday aren't that great. It was pouring down rain so I couldn't pull the car out to get some good pics, but they will do for now.

Just in case you forgot what it looked like before it rolled out here are a few reminder shots.

Now for the primer pics:

What a differnce a year makes. I went back an re-read the posts from the past year and had forgotten about some of that stuff!

Man, thats coming right along! I am amazed to look and see what he did with the rear fender and gas door. That was in need of some real help. Maybe you will have it back in time for Car Weekend and you will actually have a Mustang you won't mind taking down there! Laughing

Good 'ol Eddie looks like he knows what he's doing. And thats a goooooood thing! I'm sure we will all look forward to more pics and to see the finished product. Did you finally decide on a color?

Steve that is coming out real nice. I cant wait to see the finished product. Question though, in the one primer picture it looked like the front bumper was still not alligned properly. Is that something he will be able to fix or did you decide to just leave it like that.

I don't think the guy has it completely attached yet in the pic. As far as Steve told me, it lines up now.

The front isn't attached yet, but it does line up perfectly now. As far as a final color goes....lets just say it might look something like another mustang that is rarely seen around town....

Hey Tom, next time hopefully you are around and can go up and meet him and you guys can chat about the 68.

Hmm I will have to check out his work when he is done, I am going to need a cheap and reliable and good body shop man, maybe sometime over the summer, if not then, then like a year from now. There is so much shit i need to get fixed on the stang that it is killing me, but one of these days I will have a bad ass crusier.

Get in line Mother F'er... And I'm gonna start calling you Mr. Credit Card Money Bags if you come up with more ideas about spending all your money! Get that interior figured out and then worry about the outside. I don't want to make Steve's post a discussion about Jeremy's Stang, but you need to get those side pipes fixed before you even think about a paint job.

Steve, I would like to talk to him about the '68... Just gotta get my car priorities straightened out. Just had to order a $300 Radiator Support for My Vette cause the other one we found was completely rusted out once we took the radiator out. Life goes on, but my dad and I have lots more suspensions pieces to replace on the '68 Stang before I think I want to get it painted. Plus, do I change the interior?, change the paint?, what to do to the paint scheme?... so MANY decisions!

Tom I didnt say I was going to do this right away, I said it all depends on what this interior ends up costing me. I would like to shoot for this summer but that looks semi doubtful. And I didnt say anything about a full paint job, the body work I was looking at getting fixed is my rear quarter panal, and the side skirts, and the little dents and dings the car has. I was just curious to see what kind of work this guy did, to know whether I want to pursue him or not when the time comes.

True , many decesions to be made. I really didn't plan on painting the car yet, but we all know how that story went Evil or Very Mad

That is one expensive bracket!

Next time I get the call to go up to the shop I will let you know and you can meet me up there and talk to him. He is a supoer nice guy. He won't jerk you around. To quote Eddie "Were gonna hook you up" Right Mike? Cool

So far he has done one hell of a job. He said to bring mine over when we pick Steve's up. He wants a winter project. Just have to find a couple of grand laying around somewhere.

Just be careful of the fumes when you're taking the pics! You have a pretty good high from the paint after being in the garage with it for long!
