Just wanted to let you guys know that My car's ECU is being tuned this Thrusday and I should have it back saturday. I should gain a nice 40 horses with this. I'm so excited.

Thats awesome man. How much is that going to cost? Any other plans with turbos or the like?

it costed me 400 plus 25 overnight shipping. im also going to uprgade my turbo and intercooler to add a few more horses.

how is tuning your ecu going to give you 40 horsepower... mabe im wrong but i would need to see it on a dyno sheet to believe you, dont believe everything you read. but anyway its still cool with the turbo upgrade i think you may see close to that.

It is amazing what a little computer tuning will do. Damn factory engineers wanting to make everything safe by limiting what the car can really do.

Josh's chip in his car aparently gave him about the same. The biggest thing a chip is doing for turbo cars is upping the boost pressure from the whimpy stock stetting. Josh's chip gave him an extra 10 lbs of boost.

The combination of the more boost and upgraded turbo, you should be pretty well set. Take some installation pics if there are any. I don't deal much with the computer controlled stuff with the Vette and Mustang. Who needs 'em

sorry ...call me thick but id need proof i dont believe it i know a lot of people who not only got no power but lost power doing that because stock may be detuned but unless you get the perfect combonation you not gonna make that much power but like i said i know nothing about turbo set ups so if you want, you can teach me somethin im open minded!

Matt these chips are heavily tested. Upsolute is a pretty well known brand name in the industry. Basically what they do is change your fuel curve and up the boost. The combination of more air and more fuel equals more horsepower. I cant say an exact ammount, it may not be 40 hp but chips are the best bang for the buck in a stock turbo vehicle. Josh's chip cost him like 350$ and it did make a pretty significant differance. I cant give you exact horse power, but it did give you a throw you back in your seat effect that the car didnt have before. That is my 2 cents.

all i can say is wow. I feel a huge difference in power. I can actually peel off starts now.hahaa it gave me 3 lbs of boost to. now im running 15psi

sweet good stuff... i guess i can see i mean that guy with the syclone was messin with his laptop one time and he was making major adjustments just on his computer...oh well

Yeah turbos are fun the play with, you can really tune them nice, and get some major power out of them.
