Yeah i was deff a fan of that TA, but like matt said there are some imports that can tear us up without even trying. There are even some around westminster now that will kill us without a problem.

yeah its sad but im man enouph to admit it.....ive only raced 3 imports in westminster and i lost to two of them ...one being a 240 sx with a worked sr20det motor...the other being nicks supra with a single 73 mm turbo conversion...the third who i beat was mike but for a 4 cyl that car f/in moves! ....i need a turbo...lol!

imports don't suck...at least i get 28mpg

but really, gas is cheaper

all i have to say is there are more n more four cyl. out there that are gettin faster and faster from the manufacturer. each can talk their shit but sooner or later you'll realize that the "New" muscle cars out there dont have V8s anymore.....

sorry mike....i normally agree with you but not this time.....in the next 5 years cars now that have v6's or even supercharged v6's will be coming out wth v8s and possibly RWD again....two perfect examples are the GTO's already out and coming out are the new Pontiac Grand Prix's they will be coming out with FWD v8's...

im not saying that four cylinders suck but without a turbo, NOS, supercharger or whatever they aren't much....besides getting good gas mileage....

to each their own....but Mike....you know you miss your 5 spd Camaro RS

ya know......theres nothing wrong with 4 cyl. car ownin stuff ... I still lose to turbo civics though. but not for long after I upgrade my turbo.

yes imports are getting faster and faster but so are v8 cars think about the new 500 hp vette z06 the new 400hp gto the new 300 hp mustang and possably near 500 hp cobra in 06 i mean yeah all the new imprts are getting to the point where they can keep up with some older v8 cars but if you were to race a brand new evo 8 and an 03 cobra who would win? not sayin it wouldnt give the stang a decent run but it would lose...! and thanks to the designers of the 05 mustang and corvette soon the muscle cars will oun the road course too!

in the next few years i believe the only v 8s you'll find will be in trucks and the stang and vettes.....of course like you said the grand am and what not will to.....thats cool.....but those cars arnt given their hp to make them fast.....they weigh alot. just look at it this way.....evo....a hit....srt 4...a hit. sti...a hit just to name a few....... New thunderbird...where did they go.....Merauder......havent seen one of those in forever......these new retro fitted cars dont make it.....they just dont....people now who want faster cars are usaully younger and more and more of them opt for a smaller sleeker....more sportier car that is not only fast but quick just the same. i would be surprised to see the muscle v 8 ever really take off...and ill tell u what also chevy better start holdin thier own again with the vette....cause after next year that cobra is gonna be a sweet car.
