Imports are clearly a better choice

Would you consider any of the following to be muscle cars:
Porsche
Ferarri
Lamborghini
?
I do say those are some mighty kickin cars that we get from overseas

Yeah, when I hear the word import, I would rather it was associated with true "IMPORTS" like those banging cars with the 6 digit price tag. Porsche, McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, to name the elite few. Most "Imports" are built in the US, so they aren't truely even imported... But I sure as hell wouldn't associate them with an American Car. So whatever ricers want to call them, that cool.

I actually like all cars really...I just hate the people that think that they are better just because the driver a certain car...we are all car guys, and gals, can we all just get along!!??

I agree with Adam,
I know we all like to make fun of other people because of the things they do, but we are all friends here and its all in good fun.
Now, some things people do to cars are worthy of making fun ... Things like what we did to the Probe. HAHA!

And hopefully it will make them stop, but I'm sure it won't.

From what I have seen from being around our racing scene in nc, imports kick ass. The only American stand out is an 02 Dodge Viper.
Well, theres not much to compete with a Viper. But, the import scene is getting so big its scary. But, to each their own I guess. It all a matter of what you want to pay for (or some people get their parents to pay for)

All I have to say it this:
HONDA: From the people who brought us Pearl Harbor and this piece of CRAP...
Kinda looks like a homeless man's box on wheels. How innovative!

About the only import you'll see me with has 2 wheels. Unless I'm in a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, I think I'll stick with an American sports car.

sorry to bring this back from the dead, but im new here and i can never stay out of an import domestic debate.
calling an import the muscle car of today would not be accurate. maybe the popular sports car, but not muscle car. they called em muscle cars 'cause they had some muscle. most imports are only fast because they are light, they really dont have much power under the hood. i dont even count ferraris etc, in this. they may technically be imports, but most ppl are talking about civics and the like, not some million dollar exotic. even as exotics go, the mcclaren f1 does 0-60 in about 3 seconds, 1/4 in 11, top speed of 241, and costs about $1,000,000, the lingenfelter 427TT vette does 0-60 under 2 seconds, 1/4 in 9, top speed of 247, and costs $165,000.

True, a muscle car ment the biggest V8 you can wedge in under the hood and to just go fast, but that didnt stop a buick grand national with its 12.5 second V6 engine, but I dont think that was in that era or was it? so witch brings me to Imports, no, they have at the biggest a V6 some cant even get one in and stay with a V4, noone can acually concider this a "Muscle Car" cause it has no V8 and can't go fast unless modded heavily, turbo/charge/nos/pully/etc when these cars stock go 150+ MpH when a modded civic usually is pushing like 150 HP, see the difference?

The Buick GNs are awesome cars, but not really a muscle car. The muscle car era was 60s-70s, or at least what I call muscle cars.

IM going to agree with you on that. The buicks were nice ass cars but definatly not muscle. THere are some 4 bangers out there now that can run 12's but they are not muscle cars by any means..
