Just hope for good weather.... and that I have learned the 4SP well enough to make it down there! I guess we will have to wait and see, but I am sure we will make the best out of whatever situation we encounter. [i.e. CRAPPY WEATHER]

I'm still alive...havent been on in a long while.....was figuring to see some of you guys down at O.C. I will be there with or without the car......unfortunately we didnt reserve hotel rooms soon enough so we are staying in a trailer park thing called frontier town, should be cool, will have bonfires and stuff.....anyway me and a bunch of other club members will be down there all weekend...would like to finally meet some of the members, and hopefully will get the chance to see the cars weather permitting.....I will have my black Monte SS if its nice and I will be cruising with guys who have the likes of blown montes convertible montes, 71 chevelle w/502, vettes....will be a gang of us......and maybe if your above the burnouts I will get the chance to get a vid in the members section.... .....I've been looking for a reason to blow the dust of my new 17's......

Well, for those that weren't there, here's a little recap of some of the things that happened.

The weather wasn't really that great. It was better than some previous trips, but the rain on Saturday really put a damper on things. Sunday was beautiful, of couse..

There were oh so many nice cars. Granted, the Spring Edition of Car Weekend is much busier...but still, there was no shortage of action. We have some nice photos and video footage which we are working on getting imported to computers for use on the site here...

So thats an overview of what it was like.. there are many specific events which took place which I'm not gonna get in to, just because it's a lot for me to say.. so, if anyone else wants to add something, go right ahead.

Well, we all had a great time, and let me tell you, the Spinnaker was PRIME GRADE A location to witness burnouts. Sunday was crazy as hell with everyone leaving and burning out as they went.

FYI, cliffes85ss, I saw the convertible Monte cruise past our Hotel a few times and I figured you were somewhere among the group. Also, Mike (Burgndy87SS) happened to stop by your get together on Saturday with all the blown Montes and the Convertible. He didn't know you, but I'm sure you were in the same area.

Also, we have some AWESOME footage from Sundays burnout sessions and I will get working on them ASAP to put them in the Video Downloads.

It was a great time as always. It just reminds me of just how damned expensive my hobies are and how much the bank loves me!

Maybe we will have one trip down there where the sun shines all weekend!

Tom, I was there....I wasnt sure if it was mike or not and didnt want to look like an idiot by being hey your mike right and not have it be him....lol....no burnouts at the spinnaker for me, but the street next to where we were hangin out got some......lol.....we were out sat night but after getting 3 of our guys get stopped by the PO-Lice, we decided to head back to the campground......was nice to see all the sweet rides down there.....

Car weekend was awsome i so cant wait for the spring.
Im going to have to recomend we stay at the Spinnaker again. Even after all the fuss they gave us about the people who were under 21 when we were checking in.
That place wsa definatly worth it for all the burn outs that we got to see. I really wish i could have participated, but that is hard to do when your street radials have about as much tread on them as slicks do. Wait till the spring, i should have my new wheels and tires then. Cant wait to see the videos we created, and from the sneak peak i had they are great. I also cant wait to cruse back on down there in the spring.
