Car weekend is getting close, getting the car already to go down.
Yesturdays Work List:
Changed the front brake pads
Changed out all my old brake fluid and put in new (PITA)
Cleaned my air filter
Reatached bumper guard
Rotated my tires
Changed my oil
Painted my calipers
Next Weekends Work List:
Change rear brake pads (need special tool)
Detail clean the car inside and out, and maybe engine bay if time allows
Change out 02 sensors, and get new mil elinators (If money Allows)
And what ever else i find...
Also got to help my bro get his car ready.
This consists of:
Installing blow off valve (if it comes in in time)
Installing underbody neons (if his friend gets them off his car in time)
Installing short throw shifter (if my bro gets off his lazy ass and goes and buys one)
Paint brake calipers
Detail clean the car inside and out.
Needless to say between him and I we got alot to do this coming weekend and all of next week, but it will all be worth it.
Anyways i cant wait and all of this hard work will pay off in the end.
musclelogic can you AIM or private message either Me or Tom so we can give you our cell phone numbers so we can meet up down there if you decide to come down.
Also I will let every one know of the final price as soon as I hear back from mike k as to if his co-worker will be joining us. I will give him a call today after work and try to get that figgured out, and post back later this evening or tomorow and let every one know the final price.

I can't wait to get down there. Waking up for the early morning Boardwalk Parade, breathing CAM2 all day long, watching amazing burnouts and going to sleep to the sound of squeeling tires and drag racing..Ahh Yes!

FYI Jeremy, I put the link on there so people could check the weather themselves and not have you give us the play by play.

Oh I forgot to mention earlier that final payment for car weeken is 65$, and is due by the end of car weekend. This payment is per person and it will not change depending on how many nights they stay. 65$ per person no if ands or buts. I am also debating about dropping the beer food money charge. What are peoples opinions on this. 1 week to go....
Jeremy
Jeremy
Personally, I think its a dumb idea to ask. Just tack on the $10 per person to help the cause. I don't want to get stuck paying $50 for a beer run while some other people go out and buy $15 in chips. And then have people complain the next night that they don't feel like partying and don't end up buying anything else to make up the difference
I say, $75 per person to save my sanity and help out for everyone there.

Ok we can do that, only problem is I dont have time to try and collect all the money and go and get stuff before we go down. Tom do you just want to buy everything when we get down there on thursday, and have everyone give out 10$ before they can have a room or something. Actually lets do this when we get down there thursday we buy enough crap to last us the whole weekend, and we just figgure up the cost based on how many people are coming down, sopmething along those lines. Sorry im rambling now.
jeremy i think you should drop the beer charge becuase not everyone will be drinking in the hotel.....i know for one i will NOT be drinking in the hotel...if i want to drink i will be going to a bar to drink....and personally i'd rather only pay the 65 dollars because for me that extra 10 dollars would be a waste of money for me

Well Mike like i told you the other night I think what we are going to do is buy a minimum amoutn of stuff and just have everyone throw in like 4 or 5 dollars. Included in that is all of the snacky type foods for the weekend, and a community case of beer. But like you i will probally do most of my drinking in bars as well. And we always over buy and some one always gets screwed out of money. So this way we have a base set up if you will, and if it runs dry well then there are 24 hour liquor stores, and 24 hour bus service, who ever cares to drink more can go buy some. I also have a case of bud light left over from a party a couple of weeks ago. It isnt a full case but it is about 20+ beers, so I will donate that to the pot as well. So there we go..
