Well guys, I am faced with the dilema of making another car choice... I want to continue the Corvette heritage in the household, but what to get next. I currently have the 78 Vette, but I am not sure whether to search for the C2, or the C5... What do you think?? Confused

Tom, I'm really thinking you should go with the C5. The performance is as good as it gets, and the RELIABILITY is key. The only problem is the abundance of C5s on the road.

Anyway, the C5 targa with the 6-speed should make for one wild ride. LS1 power and performance is virtually unmatched, trust me...

My opinion, hopefully yours too.

That is definately a perk, cause I know it is about time to do a nice frame off restoration of the 78, but no one has any time for that right now. I would like to get something that I can just do some MODS to, not having to worry about fixing it up first.

And about the abundance, sure there are a lot out there... DRIVEN BY OLD MEN! Rolling Eyes But, how may 22 year olds do u see cruisin' in one of those things?? Well, let me rephrase that. 22 year olds who didn't get it as a gift from Mommy and Daddy, cruisin' in one. Laughing

Only time will tell... At the moment I still have the JEEP obligation to deal with but you can bet I am out on the prowl for that C5. Cool
