Well, I took the car out for 4 runs at the track in Cecil County, with Tom Becker and some of his friends (Tommy Boy has a Dodge SRT-4 (turbo)).

As for me, my final run was my best run, but even it was crappy.

One of the guys working at the track said I should be more than able to hit below 14 seconds for the 1/4 mile. He also estimated that I have at least 400hp in my car.. hehe well hey I can't argue with someone who's seen a lot more motor work than I have. Very Happy

I had issues with gettin good traction in the first few hundred feet. I'm runnin stock/street tires, though. Back when this car was Tom's, he ran 15's at 88mph max, if I'm not mistaken. I'm gettin the same/worse times at higher speed, which means that if I can get a good hookup off the line, I can certainly get even faster speeds, and definately faster times.. And if I just mashed full throttle right from the line, I had an issue with the motor basically stalling for a second before startin to really get up and go. I don't know if it was becuase of flooding/starving becuase of the sudden huge increase in throttle or what. I had good control in terms of controlling gears and getting good reaction times, but I just totally had issues gettin the starting acceleration.

Ah well, until next time (if there is a next time) ... I know the car has the potential.. it's just a matter of driving ability. To the dragstrip, I'm still quite the noob. haha.

So I was at the Huckas club/bar on Friday night for the "Campus Vixen Final Four Bash" thing and I just went to their gallery for the fun of it, and came across this pic, taken on 4/2, clearly. But, it's fantastic. hahaha.

personally, I like the sound of the Ferarri the best. Watch the little bit of it in the video starting at 35 seconds, and going for about 10-15 seconds from there. Fantastic...

well we can all say that this guy was not a ninja.. cuz he woulda had better sense of his surroundings if that was the case. Razz

So I put up a new gallery of my car. Spent 4 hours cleanin it, figured it would be nice to get some new pics of it. Also, I hadn't have any pics of it w/ the new motor in, so now we do.

heh yeah man, the only part that I'd change is the long shot of the Mustang sittin at the red light and the camera just showin on the 4 passengers for however many seconds it was.. watchin it, ure just kinda like, "ok cmon.." but hey outside of that, nice. Did we have any footage of me walkin around crab-style tryin to keep my pants up through the "second half" of edward 40-hands? Razz

and I see that Josh's good job of not burning his hand on my sidepipe while holdin the cam low came out quite well. Go team!
